Sky City is a distinctive housing complex occupying the upper floors of The Mall Wood Green Shopping Centre which is located in the London Borough of Haringey. The site has a unique design, with the A105 (High Road) running through its centre and the village in the sky comprises three and four storey terraces. The end client Metropolitan Thames Valley are one of the UK's leading providers of affordable housing, care and support services. Capital Projects will be delivering a comprehensive programme of works designed to strengthen the buildings infrastructure and includes: ✔️ Removal and replacement of mains water pipework within main ducts and internal risers ✔️ Replacement of existing waste pipework ✔️ Installation of leak detection systems in all ground floor residential units ✔️ All associated builders work to support the M&E upgrades ✔️ Replacement of floor coverings and finishes on ground floor units ✔️ New kitchens and bathrooms in selected properties It's always rewarding to contribute to projects that combine technical excellence with real social value, improving both the infrastructure and the living experience for residents.
